Clarrinet Question

I know ive been asking alot about this to people..but why don't bands need Alto Clarinets or Contra-Bass Clarrinet??????:confused::confused::confused::conf used::confused::confused::confused::confused: (lol i spelled the tittle wrong)..

Maybe because bands already have alto players and we need a balanced pyramid so we need bass clarinets more than alto clarinets...maybe
