Have you guys seen this?
It's from the warm up area of the Loara Band Review. As you can hear and see we had a few 'problems'. The competition pass was a lot better (aurally and visually).

Hahah I saw that. It's either the sound wasn't following through the video or we were really off in marching

I've noticed that with other Youtube marching band videos. Some of them seem to be right, right, right left right. Guess it's a Youtube thing
Anyway, thanks to Josh Abelson for posting it up on Youtube!

Must be the encoding that Youtube uses, or the original files had bad audio to visual steps.

There's nothing wrong with the video, actually.
It's really just that YouTube has a tendancy to lag its movie from the sound in it, especially if it's one of those really BIG files.

Sheesh, I still can't believe how bad we marched. If u look real close at the end we all got of out line. Only some people got in straight lines. Man we should've practiced more.  Oh well, us scrubs will have to do better next year as 8th graders. Oh and by the to all 8th graders good luck to u all as freshmen. Gooooooooooooooooooo 8th graders. (cheering)

This video was taken by Mrs. Abelson on the left side of the street in the warm up area. She was using a digital still camera (I believe) to capture that video. Mr. Hogue shot a video from the right side of the street in the competition area, just past the judges' stand. As I recall, that video shows the band doing better (marching and music-wise). Maybe we can get that up on Youtube.
