...to the posture, to the instrument angles, to the instrument placements, to the drummer with the shades, to the MUSIC...

Geez, the DM was directing ball up (my old mace days haunting me) and saluting with her whistle in her mouth (and like a mace DM).

... and the list goes on and on.

Speaking of drummers, check out those instruments. Like the uniforms, we had to make do with what we had. That bass drum and the 'tri-toms' were VERY heavy, especially for junior high students.

BTW, I believe that was the La Palma Band Review.

Oh, and the banner... it was designed and made by Mrs. Kesinger (she taught for a couple of years at Tetzlaff before going to Whitney).
