Kraemer Circus - circa 1988!

I recall back in 1988 hearing about this really great middle school/junior high band from Placentia that was winning all sorts of awards (kinda like North Park today). I didn't get to see them live, so didn't really understand all the hoopla.
Well, it turns out it was Kraemer Junior High and they were at the La Palma Parade in 1988. Yup the same one we were in, but of course we didn't see them perform cause we were busy performing ourselves.
Anyway, the person that posted the Tetzlaff in 1988 video to YouTube also posted a video of them in the same event. I just found that link and played it. Quite impressive! Y'all should have a look-see:

I didn't notice that before, but sure enough, she's sporting a top hat! And she's holding the baton the right way too(ball down). ;)

So... banner, clowns, color guard (flags), DM, band, smoke machine girls (pretty cool!) and drill team. Holy cow! And I thought we had a lot of work getting banner, guard, DM and band on the street! I'd guess I better step it up a notch next year, eh?! :p

Whoaa it's pretty cool how they let all those balloons fly away in the beginning. :) Yeah, I was wondering what those smoke machines were...anyways they were really good!
