The World Drum Major Association has announced its 2010 event schedule, which includes 2 seminars and 8 competitions.
All students involved in this year's drum major class should take note of the following:

Winter Seminars:
Jan. 9th Eastlake High School (10am-3pm)
Jan. 23rd Glendora High School (10am-3pm)

Solo Competitions:
Feb. 13th Valhalla High School
Feb. 20th Eastlake High School
Feb. 27th TBA
Mar. 6th Alvarado Intermediate School
Mar. 13th Glendora High School
Mar. 20th Eastlake High School
Mar. 27th San Gabriel High School
Apr. 3rd Riverside King (Championships)

We will be holding practices for the band (honor band), color guard and drum major candidates over winter break. The schedule is as follows:

Band and Guard:   Monday, Dec. 28, 9 – 11 AM
Drum Majors:         Monday, Dec. 28, 11 AM – 12:30 PM

Band and Guard:   Tuesday, Dec. 29, 9 – 11 AM
Drum Majors:         Tuesday, Dec. 29, 11 AM – 12:30 PM

Band and Guard:   Wednesday, Dec. 30, 9 – 11 AM
Movie Matinee:       Wednesday, Dec. 30, 11:15 AM – 1:00 PM

Movie Matinee:
We will be showing a movie after the last day of rehearsal in the band room.
The movie will be "Elf" and we will have pizza and a drink for lunch during the movie.
